Fifty years ago, Bobby Kennedy started his presidential campaign. RIP.

Just: Wow. A keeper for sure.

    • MF says:

And then he was killed after publicly stating he would re-open the killing of JFK.

The CIA and LBJ could not have that.

    Warren,

Quite simply, the man was exceptional. How many of us while dying would inquire if anyone else was hurt in the shooting?

As for why? Joe Kennedy crossed the mob during his bootlegging years and his sons paid the price for it.

    • MF says:

While the mob may have been involved, as they were involved trying to get Castro, they could not have done the cover up. Had to be LBJ and the CIA.

All the doctors in Dallas saw entry wound in the neck and a large exit wound in the back of the head. This means shots had to come the front. Somehow, things changed by the time the body reached Bethesda.

Also, the last 2 shots were almost simultaneous. Many witnesses, including secret service, stated this and even testified to this to the Warren Commission. No way a single shooter, with that rifle, could have done it.

RFK’s assassination seems pretty cut and dry from the available evidence. It is often called the first instance of extremist islamist terrorism on US soil (and one of the first of the modern era anywhere in the Western world).

JFK’s assassination…that’s a whole other kettle of fish and I suspect we will all be long dead before enough documents are declassified for us to learn the truth.

Warren: this is fantastic! “See you on the ?” What’s the last word?

  4. Pedant says:

I can’t quite make out the last word of the message. “See you on the…..?”

I’d be curious to know the backstory of this autographed photo. You would’ve been a young boy at the time.

Two very sad 50-year anniversaries coming up. MLK in April, RFK in June.
