If Trudeau keeps this up, Doug Ford will have no chance on October 21!

Jerry Agar’s line to me, and I had to steal it.

Going after Doug Ford re. poor treatment of public service workers… After how he treated posties….

JT is to hypocrisy what Da Vinci was to art, what the Wright brothers were to flight, what Neil Armstrong was to space travel, what Gordie Howe was to hockey, what Napoleon was to warfare.

I watched that spectacle yesterday, and the first impression I got, was what is wrong with that guy? He looked like a spoiled ten year old lecturing his parents. He read the same old tired script from Gerald Butts that Harper, Ford, and Scheer are evil and never answers reporter questions. His continued intrusion on provincial responsibilities is also concerning. And how does he propose to work with provinces, when his main focus is trashing provincial premiers. As far as banning military assault weapons, he might as well ban gangs from using F16 fighter jets. Because neither are used by gangs.

Everyone fretting about the election results and complaining about how or why Scheer isn’t “WAY ahead!!” … when the results are in, you are all going to look back on the campaign and say “Well OF COURSE they lost!”

Practically no major achievements in the first term…horrible winter and spring…Blackface! Which pulled the legs out of the Lib re-election strategy leaving JT with “Doug Ford!”…JT doing the Harper end of government approach of not answering questions, refusing to go to debates etc.

2015 Lib supporters are just waiting to decide who to vote for among Singh and May and when they do they will be polling in the high 20s which is where they will end up on election night. DOUG FORD!

  4. Bill says:

Like Ford or hate him, questions is, will he bring a big voter turnout? A big voter turnout could be disadvantage Trudeau! More Greens and more NDP can only hurt Trudeau – they were never going to vote Conservative anyway and will punish Trudeau for buying a Pipeline. Blue Liberals who see Trudeau as the fool he is will vote Conservative. Hardline Liberals will vote down party lines – doesn’t matter to them how unscrupulous the Trudeau Liberals have been in government. Ford still has his supporters, safe bet he’ll vote Conservative and possibly the largest turnout of Conservative in decades. Could make for an interesting night full of surprises.

    Trudeau – Not As Advertised.

  5. Doug Brown says:

Ford cannot be popular. Ontario’s finances are a mess and austerity is the only path forward. Too bad the Ford government has bungled its communications strategy. For example, it failed to use data to justify downsizing teacher headcount through attrition. There are stats showing that Ontario has lost something like 110K k-12 students since the early 2000’s while teacher headcount rose by something like 12K.

    • lyn says:

Doug Brown: If it wasn’t for Trudeau interfering Doug would NOT have a problem. Trudeau has been stirring up the UNION Diaz will work against any Conservative whether Provincial or Federal.

TRUDEAU NOT AS ADVERTISED…TRUDEAU NOT AS ADVERTISED!!

  6. Barring Scheer blowing it in the debates, it will be a CPC majority government.

  7. Trudeau should save time for the poor voters and continually wear a sign that reads: Pay Attention! I’m about to once again say something incredibly
    S-T-U-P-I-D…

(Frankly, I thought Broadhurst would be far better than this. Looks like he’s the new Mook.)

  8. John says:

Does anyone think its a good look for Justin to be shown in a boxing ring this morning, after the ridicule he got for beating a First Nation’s Senator in the ring?

    Stole this from an Australian FB post addressed to youth;
” you are the first generation to have asked for air conditioning in each classroom; your lessons are all done on the computer; you have a television in each room; spend all day using electronic means
instead of walking to School, you take all kinds of means of transport. You are the biggest consumer of consumer goods in all history, you constantly buy the most expensive clothes to be ‘trendy’. Your protest is announced by digital and electronic means.
Guys, before you protest, turn off air conditioning, go to school on foot, turn off your phones and read a book, make a sandwich instead of buying food.
none of this will happen, because you are selfish, poorly educated, manipulated by people who use you,
Saying you have a noble cause while having fun is the most insane western luxury. Wake up. Inform yourself of the facts before you protest”

  10. Steve T says:

Scheer could start wearing a nametag at all press conferences:

    Hi! My Name Is…
    …not Doug and not Stephen

  11. John says:

The stock markets are nose diving and now there is serious talk of a global slow down. Is Canada ready for a recession with a 27 billion dollar deficit if Groper wins?

  12. Walter says:

He has very little ammo left in the cupboard and all their dirty tricks are not working. I will pull out a fine red wine to watch his concession speech. Then it’s back to blackface and yearbook for the Vapid Wonder.

  13. Gilbert says:

The prime minister wants everyone to think that Stephen Harper and Doug Ford are his opponents in this election. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I don’t think it will work this time.

  14. John says:

So according to the debate last night the main issues facing Canadians are gay rights, abortion, and global warming. No mention that I saw of the housing crisis, or the cost of living. Lots of talk from Groper about Harper, Ford, and Kenney. Justin reminded us that Nazis are running rampant in Canada. Bloc leader thinks that the Lavalin scandal is a nothing burger. Deficits are wonderful, Justin is wonderful.
