Cartoon of the year

Love it.

And, yes, me and my Daisy colleagues proudly oppose racism. And go soak your head if you don’t like it.

  1. the real Sean says:

I honestly could listen to the guy talk about power plays, off sides, slap shots and what junior hockey was like in the 50s all day… I’m not tuning in to listen what any of these people think about social issues… at all… ever…. and I don’t think anyone else is. Frankly he should have STFU about that stuff 30 years ago. We would not ask a philosophy professor for advice on touchdowns, a mechanic for gardening ideas, an astronaut for investment tips.

    • Lawrence Barry says:

I would never ask a philosophy professor for “advice” on anything – ever – but I did know a mechanic who knew a hell of a lot about gardening,

    • Martin says:

Why wouldn’t we when, as a nation, we elect an unqualified individual, also guilty of racism, PM?

    • Ron Benn says:

Sean, I on the other hand, stopped tuning into Coaches Corner more than a decade ago because Don Cherry’s commentary on hockey was beyond antiquated.

The game is about speed, agility, passing and shooting accurately, and the ability to delivery and take a clean hit. Don Cherry’s game, involving fighting for the sake of sending a message, was so 1970’s, when the Broad Street Bullies won their Cups with their fists and sticks, not with their skates.

We are both in agreement on his social commentary.
