I have good acquaintances who for many years have relied on the Star to tell them how to think. If/when the Star goes down they won’t know what to do…
Perhaps the NDP could take over the paper and show us how to run a business. 🙂
I have to say I’m looking forward to reading the coverage from the Star’s new Calgary reporters.
Very curious to see if they make a serious attempt to explain the West’s positions to Toronto or just explain how we’re doing everything wrong.
I know what my confirmation bias is telling me is going to happen.

The Toronto Star has steadily transitioned into a clone of NOW Magazine (is that even still around?) appealing exclusively to the green-hair-and-nose-ring Parkdale set. It has gone so far to the extreme whacko left that without Liberal party bribes (sorry, funding) it will not be able to survive much longer.
The National Post is now the main centrist newspaper in Canada.
