Wakey, wakey Katie! You’ve broken the cardinal rule of PMO staff; you’ve become a key part of a scandal. REPEATEDLY! And your party is NOT supposed to be reading about YOU in their local broadsheet, nor watching national political panels talking about the PMO Chief of Staff. You’re a “hanger on”. Whatever ounce of dignity you still have, heed it and take your leave. But don’t lose heart! Justin always takes care of his friends. Maybe a diplomatic posting on the Aga Khan’s island awaits. Take Butts with you, he can save the turtles.

    • Max,

They both proved what their years of political expertise and tactician skills were worth when they refused to overrule Sophie on India. That was the beginning of the end — but since this Prime Minister would never dream of firing his friends — well, you know, the rest of the story. They are the 2020 Trudeau versions of The Wizard.

The PM better start praying long and hard that Broadhurst can actually save his political ass.

Conservative war room cannot counter punch Broadhurst.

        Their only hope?
        Flush out Broadhurst.
        Make him the story.
Find a way to get him to spend more time defending himself than strategizing the campaign.

          Douglas,

It’s my considered opinion that if they listen to Norquay, Watt and Segal, they can take Broadhurst and Company in a New York minute.

I would also add an honorable mention for Reynolds and most of you already know why. That was pure genius and a solid home run! Cudos to him.

Hugh knows how to deliver Ontario.

As for Quebec, the party might have a difficult time, holding on to every one of its ten seats.
            Big-time momentum for the BQ.

The great thing about being a political staffer is that if you lose over and over and over again, get your ass handed to you in multiple elections, cause the ruination of multiple careers, have a solid reputation of achieving nothing and no credibility at all…. you still get to hang your sign and call yourself a consultant and receive many millions of dollars of untendered public funds.

    What about the Rolling Stones?

  4. Innocent III says:

    Dear Chief Magistrate,
You are one of a small minority of music lovers who would argue that ‘Abbey Road’, their final recording, is proof that The Beatles were ‘starting to suck’.
