All of that time to talk about it, and no discussion of your employment by the CPC to bring down the evil, vote-splitting Frenchman Bernier.

We’re watching this world implode, and no one parses these phrases. Civic duty. Proper role. Right role.

The correct role of government is totally to bootf*ck a terrorist-on-skates in Calgary late this week. Let’s talk about how deadly it is to empower the tyrants and look away for 9 months.

Guys….this role of the State is scaring the shit out of me.

Don’t be such a pants-wetter. Honest to god this paranoid hysteria from you ultra-libertarians about PUBLIC HEALTH MEASURES would be laughable if it wasn’t also helping spread a disease.

In Taiwan, the government played the right and proper role. Other places, not so much.

The right and proper role for government is less, no matter what the area is. Government has lost the ability to address the issues we currently face; overburdened health care system, crumbling infrastructure, insufficient long-term care for our elders, falling test scores, overcrowded court system… the list is practically endless.

In the quest to be all things to all people (or, more correctly, as many things to as many voting blocs as possible), government has become NO things to all people. The only possible answer to the statement “Hi, I’m from the government and I’m here to help” is “GET LOST! Let us figure it out ourselves!!”
