Our latest Sun Media hit: for whom the bell tolls?

  1. Ronald O'Dowd says:

There’s no way on God’s green earth that O’Toole is going to call for a review vote. No way. Remember when Clark was not satisfied with his review vote number? And we all know what happened to Clark in that leadership race. Erin remembers that one all too well.

  2. I wish that Rempel-Garner and the rest of caucus would use their brains and show some political savvy for a change…

Instead of moaning and groaning about Batters and her “distraction”, then how about, you know, passing a resolution in caucus at your next meeting supporting Erin’s leadership unequivocally. That would put a final end to this. What the hell is caucus waiting for? A phone call from The Almighty? Jesus.

  3. Ronald O'Dowd says:

    Warren,

MPs better get it in first gear fast and support the leader cause it’s now showtime at the CPC Corral — Conservative senators having defied both O’Toole and Plett. That means Batters stays in the Senate caucus. Erin NEEDS for the House caucus to speak with one voice and he needs it now. Otherwise this thing gets legs and we look like idiots in front of voting Canadians. So get in caucus next week and bring forward a damned resolution.

  4. Ronald O'Dowd says:

People will say I’m a hypocrite for previously arguing that Batters, Chen and others be left alone to have their say and now doing a 180: look, this Senate thing is like kryptonite and is a direct act of defiance against O’Toole. No one can let that stand and stay leader. That’s why caucus in the elected house has to speak quickly and loudly otherwise political disaster awaits.

  5. Yeah, that’s it, wasting everyone’s time and conflating the overall COVID-19 issue by stupidly yammering about the “jurisdiction” of the BOIE.

Haven’t caucus got anything better to do — you know, like maybe plotting strategically to defeat this government at the earliest opportunity? Nah, let’s make it all about the BOIE. Good choice…
