I’m no fan of Netanyahu. I joined thousands of Israelis who marched against him in Tel Aviv. I think he’s a crook. He hurts Israel.
That said, I say this: INDIVIDUAL JEWS ARE NOT TO BLAME FOR THE DECISIONS OF ISRAEL’S GOVERNMENT.
Disagree? That’s antisemitism. Simple.
This is very true. It also applies to Americans (individual Americans are not to blame for Trump’s nonsense), and to current Canadians (individual Canadians are not to blame for the missteps of Canadian governments in the 1800s and 1900s).
On the latter point, this is why I have zero patience for the idea that Canadians who look a certain way are automatically assumed to be racist when they question the choices made by groups who receive government proceeds funded by their taxpayer dollars.
All of these things are lazy approaches to debating – it’s what you do when you have no actual cogent argument, and just want to halt the conversation.

People who experienced fascism, you know, when they tell you somebody they sound like a fascist maybe they should consider how they carry themselves and change – they experienced it, so if they think somebody sounds like a fascist then who are we to tell them otherwise.

Hi Warren. Wondered if you had any reaction to Anita Anand’s comments allegations that Israel is withholding food as a tool in Gaza. No mention of Hamas theft of food as the principal driver in any food shortages, but a handy repetition of the “over 50,000” Palestinians that have died due to “aggression caused against the Palestinians and the Gazan people in Palestine” (Aka terrorsts and innocent civilians killed in a war caused by Hamas). So more of the same bullshit as Joly, in other words.
