Aziza Mohammed, who stole documents from Daisy Group and was let go for antisemitism – and was treated as a credible “source” by CBC News, CANADALAND and the Globe – has had another court date for criminal harassment charges. She’s back in court in January.
I wish more people knew about the provincial court (justice) websites – most provinces have them. You can google them, and/or the URLs are fairly straightforward. For example, here in Manitoba it is simply jus.gov.mb.ca
It’s lots of fun to search on people’s names, and see what mischief they’ve been up to. Or, if you want a depressing view into our pathetic Canadian justice system, next time you read a story about someone caught for a violent offense, search their name. Odds are, they’ve already got a rap sheet, and got off after a light sentence (due to one of the multitude of excuses baked-into our justice system).
