The Globe story a lobbyist worked to suppress with threats and dark warnings – successfully?

This one is going to be interesting.

No organization would hire Shaidle as a lobbyist, even as a don’t-pay-a-cent-money-back-guaranteed Jafferesque lobbyist.

I have looked around Ms. Shaidle’s blog….ugh…look Warren I don’t always agree with you but you have never engaged in the kind of racist claptrap I have seen on her blog. Surely no person or group outside her limited following will have anything to with her?

Kathy Shaidle. What a mess, and what an awful blog. Does this mean I shouldn’t listen to Cat Stevens?

I didn’t know that Warren is or was a National Post writer. Old story though –

Stephen Taylor. Interesting guy. Used to work for the Manning Centre. Now, runs his blog, appears on CTV’s Power Panel and …. ?

One wonders how many more of these consultant/friends-of-the-PMO are out there, peddling their influence?

I am calling it The CONsorship Scandal!

But this individual has a following and is lauded in the conservative blogosphere. They protect and defend her (and her husband Arnie The Missing Link Lemaire).

Even credible members of the left-wing intelligentsia like Steve Paikin allow her to go on TV and spout her dangerous nonsense. Describing a hack like KS as “controversial” simply debases the entire discourse.

WK caught flack for castigating Paikin, but he was right for doing so- even if Paikin was right in defending his own turf.

I can be dull, but am I missing something? I remember this vid & I know who that person is, but I don’t get the recent connection.

On another topic: Michael Coren is looking for someone to replace Andrea. Has to be someone on “the Left”. Would like a woman, but not necessary. What do you think Warren? Would be nice to have someone who would talk sense at least once / week…
