—And wait until you hear about Minister McKenna and the (former) Parks Canada employee!
True story. I once said to Ignatieff we should photograph him running or something. Me: “Not tennis or golf, though. Rich guy sports. Running’s okay.” Him: “That’s all bullshit. I’m not doing any of it.” Liked him from then on. #cdnpoli

If Igantieff had somehow been able to communicate that attitude to the voters he would have done a lot better.
Mhm. Better to be as you are than pretend. He might as well have embraced his natural self so that he’d be authentic.
RE: Angel Martin says:
“If Igantieff had somehow been able to communicate that attitude to the voters he would have done a lot better.”
Well he couldn’t have done any worse. From what I recall, 3 maybe 4 people almost chose our Prime Minister. From acclaimed party leader to coalition leader. With no one voting for him; either at party level or country level. Scary.
I believe he was also acclaimed into his riding nomination after some shenanigans. He did win his riding once.
He was never a coalition leader. He is the one who shut it down.
While true, the coalition was formed when Dion was leader, Iggy claimed he never signed the letter to support the coalition.
But he did sign it, later claiming he did so reluctantly.
And after he became leader didn’t he coin the phrase “A coalition if necessary, but not necessarily a coalition”
What does the headline have to do with the story?
I’m curious – what about her?
Parks Canada? Picnic table? A full moon?
How does the McKenna comment the into the Michael comment?
