Cheri DiNovo loses it – again

Here. The Rabblesians are unimpressed.

Nobody will be particularly surprised.

Her Looniness:

“…I think I did a really good job and I spoke for quite awhile and I said, “Okay, your turn, questions?” There was this silence and then one kid put his hand up and asked, “What drugs did you sell?” And I answered, “LSD that I imported in hollowed out Bibles (the first introduction I had to the Bible) and back then it was the good stuff, not the kind of crap you kids do.” That happened this week.”

A sermonizing Cheri, completely oblivious to a parade, and a lot of other stuff, too.

What’s the date and time on that? Looks alot like a case of late night drunken blogging to me.

  2. Connoisseur says:

Maybe she’ll get a chance to explain herself on the Faith Matters panel on Michael Coren’s show again.

  3. James Smith says:

    I’m shocked!
(BTW is this the same MPP who can’t keep a staff due to her, um, er, eccentric, management style?)

    PS
Love the new site, just wonder how does one use one’s avatar ?

  4. Warren, remember that we’re not allowed to go after Ms. DiNovo. If we do, the Dippers will call us all sorts of thigns bordering on libel. Nothing to see here…

    • Warren says:

That’s right – I forgot! My sincerest apologies.

At least Cons can occasionally laugh at themselves. Dippers – never.

One might point out, if one were so inclined, that it might be hypothetically considered ones own fault that she was elected in the first place. “Overzealous bloggers” was the headline at the time, if I recall. But it is so long ago, and it is best not to speak of olden tymes.

  5. Andy says:

So Jason Cheniak thinks DiNovo was wrong to speak in favour of Shurman’s resolution? Interesting.

  6. Ted says:

Never been any kind of a fan of Di Novo, but I have to hand it to her for taking on the anti-Israeli crowd, as tepidly as she did.

It takes a certain degree of courage to be among the pro-Palestinian/anti-Israeli left and point out the hypocritical silence and moral equivalence on what is happening to women and LBGTs in Iran and Saudi Arabia, about how there is virtually no criticism of Hamas or other extreme muslim groups or regimes or anything like Saudi Apartheid Week, despite how much worse their human rights and peace records are, and what they advocate: total subjucation of women and the elimination of Israel and Jews.

Unfortunately, you can see her start to cave at the end of that torrential attacks on her when she starts to claim she is not speaking out against the left but just asking them to stop with the personal threats of violence on her family for daring to speak out against them.

  7. Hannah says:

Ted, how much “courage” does it take to side with a powerful country and it’s supporters? Ted, do you think all Jews support Israel? You might want to revisit that assumption because it is not reality. You clearly do not know much about the left. Do you think students should be forced to censor themselves over the term “apartheid”?

Saudi Arabia is chock full of human rights abuses, that does not mean Israel gets a pass because it is considered by some a “democracy”. Dies Israel practice apartheid, as defined by the UN? Absolutely. Isn’t it a tactic of the right to label anyone opposed to Israel an anti-semite, including many left wing Jews? Or are those Jews not real Jews to you?
Cheri showed zero courage. Her new idol is Tarek Fatah. She called her supporters fascists and idiots (see the link below).

She accused her facebook supporters who engaged her in respectful dialogue of threatening her, over and over again. It was a good tactic for her to use, continue to yell, “stop threatening me” when there were absolutely no visible threats on her FB page. None. Where did the threats come from?? Has she reported these people, their e-mail addresses, their names, to the police? Is there an investigation into the supposed death threats she has received? Do you know something the rest of us don’t?

Here is her meltdown. Read it again for clarity as I think you need it.

DiNovo is worse than you could ever imagine. [LIBEL] is just the beginning. I told that Cherniak candy-ass exactly what to do if he wanted to find out the truth about Cheri DiNovo. Why are you all so afraid of the RCMP? An Access to Information request to difficult for you?

  10. B says:

Sorry, too difficult for you…I am not used to writing in English anymore
