Trojan test

A number of regular readers (Darren, David et al.) let me know that a Trojan had somehow infiltrated wk.com this morning.  The Ill-Logic Team got to work on it, and had to strip out more than 800 instances of malicious code.

This post will show us whether the Trojan is gone.  Thanks to all for the suggestions and help.

And, while we are on the subject, this episode should make clear to one and all that APPLE PRODUCTS CAN BE INFECTED WITH VIRUSES AND MALWARE.

  1. William M says:

Of course Apple products can be infected. Only reason they haven’t been to the same scale was that more users were on Windows.

That will change and you too will know the beauty (AAAARARGGGH!) of hackers!

  2. allegra fortissima says:

    It wasn’t me – I swear!

  3. Ronald O'Dowd says:

Coincidence I think not. My fun started last night and the anti-virus has been buzzing all day. Must mean Liberals are about to hit paydirt and it stings in certain quarters. Imagine that!

  4. Ronald O'Dowd says:

Maybe we should call the Doctor in Calgary. He might be able to help us out.

  5. Wannabeapiper says:

I did a forsensic analysis of the 800 malicious codes: “Vote for Ford” was embedded in 799. He is out therrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrre. The 800th said “Eat at Joes”?

  6. DAVID says:

Just heard you on cfrb I’m amazed that you are semi articulate ,your welcome .see you tomorrow on queen cheers David

  7. Robbie says:

All phasers on stun. Lib-Dem Warrior under Trojan siege. Full Con-bot intrusion detected. Scramble those F35s Martha, we got ourselves a situation. This is not a drill, I repeat this is not a drill.

  8. Aurelia says:

I could also be the endless hacking that wordpress has been subject to lately. In fact, wordpress is down more often than up due to malicious code, whether the blog owner uses PCs or Macs, or ubuntu, or a corporate server with a firewall made of gold.

The problem is the blog software. There are upgrades and fixes and patches around. Be safe, k?
