Just back from communing with Mike Ness and Co. at Kool Haus. The place was packed! Two thousand? Three? Tons of bikers, punks and skinheads – just like last time.
Here’s the boys from back in the day, before the stuff Mike was putting in his arm caught up to him.
This stuff never gets old. I remember waking up the morning after I first heard SD wondering how I ended up so hungover. My second thought was wondering what that sweet song stuck in my head was. It was Ball and Chain.
Social Distortion rocks. Only problem is their sets are usually super short. The did a show in TO about 10 years ago and the set was under 50 minutes.
Great show! We got there late and missed Frank Turner, but caught Lucero. It was packed in there.
Comment on the way home from one of the guys we went with:
“Remember those skins hanging out in front of us? Learned something new about skins tonight. They use coat checks.”
