Roxy Roller Kinsella sits in the sun this morning at Daisy Group, looking for political inspiration to come through the door. She waits. And waits. And waits.

    Roxy looks to the future…
Essentially no change in the House of Commons.
Four leaders of federal parties considering their futures.
Another minority, Harper will resign soon.
Another 70 or so seats, Liberals need to ask Mr Ignatieff what is next.
Jack Layton needs to give the NDP a chance to youth up.
Gilles Duceppe? Is there anyone waiting to take over?
We will have spent $300 million (they say).
For marginal movements in national policy.
Adults in the land are wondering why there aren’t any in the House of Commons.
It’s all a big game to you.
Ask the cashiers and the shelf stackers you see today.
Roxy is satisfied because a stretch, a walk and a snooze is given by our creator, not Ottawa.

she’s a beauty. Still has a puppy look about her. Is she a year old yet? I love it when dogs sit in anticipation. Better when they sniff the spring air.

WK, Kudos for the Nick Gilder/Sweeny Todd flashback.

BTW, I remember reading about you in an article on local punk rockers in the U of C Gauntlet student Newspaper in the early 80s (I was a fan of the old Calgarian and the other dive bars downtown that mixed punk rock bands with a “downmarket” clientele). Next time I heard your name, you were working for Chretien. Local punk rocker makes good!
