Hey its Stephen Harper riding the Gravy Train!!

  3. MontrealElite says:

They should have bought air time and aired it right before…and after the debates.

  4. MontrealElite says:

Got my bottle of tequila for tonight.

Every time Harpo says coalition, I’m doing a shot.

    I may need another bottle.

The infamous leather vest strikes again!

  6. George says:

Apparently some of the money that was spent to spruce up stuff like the highway and infrastructure was promised under the Liberals.

    • Namesake says:

That’s bordering on irrelevant, just as billing the first $40 of that $50-M to “Border Infrastructure Fund” borders on fraud, and Peter MacKay’s telling Arnie that California shares a border with BC borders on ludicrous. And it’s all quite curious, George.

    • smelter rat says:

Sure George. We all believe you.

    • james Smith says:

… wowsers! you’ve broken the case!! It neatly explains how a 7 year old quotation, on a different topic from two administrations ago from a different party got accidentally used to sex-up how the gravy train’s wheels got greased last year! Way 2 Go-GO Gadget!

“There are none so blind as those that will not see” Dept…..

  7. Tucco says:

Nice try George. Were you paid for that comment.

  8. Lipman says:

A winner- bigtime. While quirky on the surface, this one is very effective in shining a light on a very serious pattern.

    • pomo says:

Quirky works for me every time. I am sick of serious. Make me laugh and think at the same time please. If you can do that, I won’t change the channel.

  9. Sean says:

WOW! This is exactly the kind of stuff Liberals have been waiting for! The fact that the campaign has the capacity to script, produce and authorize this sort of material in a 24 hour cycle says a lot about how far team red has come from 2008. This election was supposed to be a boring waste of time, but instead we’ve got doctored A.G. docs, missing millions, hookers prowling 24 Sussex and perhaps the most wild political come back of all time. What more could we ask for? This election is wonderful!

  10. JWN says:

Hopefully the alacrity and sophistication of the response doesn’t suggest foreknowledge of the leak…

Interesting that the leaked draft is from January and wasn’t leaked until the eve of the debates.

Reminds me somewhat of the RCMP investigation announced in the midst of Martin’s final campaign. Wonder if this will have a similar impact.

  11. Matt says:

might i point out that Harpers leadership numbers are still more than double that of Iggy. Nanos says so!

  12. JS Rothwell says:

Do you live in a circus? I live out west and dont dress like that nor do I take a locomotive. Geez it’s the 21st century. Get over yourself. The entire west isnt like you!

  13. Ron says:

    Harpers rating takes a hit
Kind of expected though given all the noise about the “draft”

it’ll be interesting to see what the polls at the end of the week show

interestingly though with Harpers decrease there does not seem to be any movement on Iggy’s part
Jack is still leading over Iggy and is in second place

the rumble in the jungle tonight should be interesting

  14. MCBellecourt says:

Good spot. I don’t know if anyone else noticed, but I had to look again:

HarPinocchio’s cowboy hat was on BACKWARDS!!! Seriously!!

The dimples of the hat are supposed to face frontwards!!!

    Too frackin’ FUNNY!!!
