Cancer Bats! Sabotage!
My daughter and I were rockin’ out to the Bats’ take/remake on the Beastie Boys classic this morning. Holy Mother, does this tune ever kick ass!

They’re awesome, eh? Toronto boys, too. Next time they play somewhere, go see them. One of the strongest live acts you’ll ever clap eyes on.

Oh sweet Jesus that is good! This cover works for me on three levels. Love the Cancer Bats (Birthing the Giant was an epic album). I love the Beasties, in general and “Sabotage” in particular. Finally my general love and OCD-esque collecting of rock cover tunes. I blame Joan Jett’s glorious cover of “Crimson and Clover” for this.
