Yeah yeah, he’s an egomaniac. Whatever. As a taxpayer, I’m not paying him to be modest. And he’s pointed to some truly heinous behaviour by bureaucrats that he’s fixed or is investigating.

The thing is he is full of sheit. He talks tough but does little. For example, a number of years back as SIU head he puported to have investigated the death of a man in Ottawa caused by the Ottawa police. Marin arrived on the scene, held a press conference to explain the results of “his” investigation. When asked pointed questions by those other than his chosen media minions he either refused to answer or clearly revealed that he had not even visited the scene of the incident that formed the basis of “his” investigation.
What was more troubling was later dicovering that he had very close relatives in the Ottawa police force, the very one we was “investigating”.
What political stripe is he?
