Byline, Sept. 7: Tea Party Tim is a goddamned hypocrite

…and that’s just some of the nice things I say.  Check it out.

I pull out the Tim Hudak flip-flops. This marks the only occasion when Brian smiles at me.

When it comes to Brian Lilley, I can’t make up my mind as to what i find more grating, his pompous, smartass attitude, or his backwards beliefs

    • Lord Kitchener says:

Brian Lilley got owned, what a hack. love the way how when he knows he is on the ropes, he just tries to speak over the other (like most Sun pundits) with his bumpkin arguments

  2. david says:

Great interview my favorite part is when you said you didn’t accuse Hudak of being racist. And the James Hoffa mime at the end was priceless.

  3. nic coivert says:

Lilley’s editorial with backdrop of “Premier Dad’ is pretty tough to take, its like journalism from a clown’s ass.

  4. Robert White says:

Not enough credit has been given to Dalton and the Liberals for this unselfish proposal to help out the .0001 percent of the people of Ontario who are immigrant cab drivers or Grant-Seeking Employers. The rest of the immigrant community who have settled here and have had to make it on their own may be cynical toward this silly proposal but Dalton will continue to push it through in the hope of buying the votes of the above mentioned cab drivers and employers.

    • Pat says:

This has nothing to do with helping people – it has everything to do with producing an injection of 1200 highly educated workers into our economy. They’ll contribute more to society and they’ll pay higher taxes. Isn’t that what we want from recent immigrants? To contribute as much as they can to our country/province? Isn’t that what recent immigrants want? To contribute as much as they can to their new community?

If it is helping .0001 percent of people in Ontario, then it isn’t the most expensive policy in the world, and if it means 1200 more doctors, engineers and pharmacists, it means our economy will be stronger, our tax base will grow, and our communities will benefit. How long do you think it would take a fully certified engineer to pay back the $10K through increases in their taxes over – say – a cab driver? Probably not too long…

    • Chris says:

Are you kidding? You don’t think that those people have families, and are members of communities that would have shared pride in a local boy “making good”?

    • Attack! says:

and as an added bonus: it’ll open up all those cab driving jobs for the uneducated ‘native-born’ Canadians that’ve been sneering at the over-educated “immigrant cab drivers” like our friend Mr. White, here.

    • Michael S says:

I’m sure the immigrant community loves being called “foreigners”.

  5. Dan says:

It’snot Barney, but still pretty good.

  6. Michael S says:

Brian looks like my dad circa 1965. Same hair, same suit, worse teeth.

  7. Philippe says:

Woah nice ass-kicking. A lesson in how to debate Con clowns that are on the wrong side of facts.

  8. A. Cynic says:

“…Arizona Governernor”…. That was so cool!

  9. Glen says:

    Oooo it’s the Sideburns Smackdown!

  10. Laurel West says:

A master class in staying on message.
