What a bad marriage. A Liberal Conservative coalition is a much more natural pairing.
Look, in all seriousness. If you want to stop this kind of non-sense, change the electoral system. As long as the parties live or die by vote splitting, this kind of “fluffing” is inevitable.
This sort of coalition is bound to fail. It would be similar to what is happening to the Liberal Democrats in the UK. The LibDems have been the party to give up more in the relationship with the British Conservatives that its driving away support in droves.
