    The article is probably a pretty good analysis of Hudak’s problems. Noting the article probably is from a more conservative point of view one issue is that it leaves out the fact that while spending levels increased, inflation and revenue levels also increased. McGuinty and the liberals have had surpluses a number of years during their time in power and were set for another one in 2008 until the recession hit and threw all financial projections out the window. I would also note that while we haven’t found a method for cost containment with health care it has been known for years that the cost of health care would likely rise as more people age and retire.
