It may look friendly. It wasn’t.

I love how you put forward the idea that people should compare/contrast policies because “that’s what elections are about” and the other host says “That’s spin!” Brilliant, that.

  2. Harith says:

So frustrating that it was all baiting and gotcha and no clear answers.

    • The Doctor says:

. . . which is why most normal people can’t stand watching this stuff . . . which in turn helps explain disengagement, low voter turnout, etc.

  3. I had to do a double take – I thought that I was looking at Rex Harrison there for a minute! 🙂

  4. Philippe says:

What is it with the cooky right-wing media outlets? It seems like the right has taken over public discourse through their TV Stations, Radio Stations, Websites & Newspapers. If we’re going to tilt society back towards non-regression, we’ll need our own media to have a fighting chance. The sad thing is that these lunatics manage to sway some voters with their constant fact-less ranting. Anyways, keep up the good fight Warren.

  5. JenS says:

Did you say hi to Alex for me?

  6. sj says:

What is she wearing? That cleavage seems more Real Housewives of New Jersey than news reporter.

    Your co-host is hot.

  8. allegra fortissima says:

“McGuinty’s Bill is directed at Canadian Citizens”

In other words: A landed immigrant/permanent resident, who, according to the law, has the same rights and obligations as a Canadian Citizen (he/she cannot vote in elections, though) will happily drive a cab or pursue a promising career as a dishwasher for 3 years, until he/she has the option to become a Canadian Citizen – only then, after becoming a Canadian Citizen, he/she will be able to work as a lawyer, accountant, engineer, architect etc in Ontario, provided that a company is willing to hire him/her under the proposed Liberal Bill.

This isn’t a flip. This is a flop! Of course qualified immigrants need their credentials recognized upon arrival in Canada. ASAP, and not three years later! That’s the root of the problem. Those “bodies” – try to persuade them, good luck!

Beside that: too much ruffle left and right. This time the center is fine, no?

  9. Iris Mclean says:

That display of cleavage was nothing less than disgusting!
Once again, Warren proved himself a class act by averting his gaze.

  10. Brad says:

Ryan Doyle is a buffoon, he is on the radio now trying to spin I as a big win for him

  11. Glen says:

Personally I find these types of titillating interviews help me breast see through the spin.

Warren were you and that guy discussing something during that clip? I didn’t catch it. I’ll have to watch it again.

  12. Steve T says:

Your cab-driver story was dead on, WK. I’ve met more engineer-cabbies, doctor-cabbies, accountant-cabbies than I ever thought possible. It must be extraordinarily frustrating for them.

  13. Woody says:

Warren, you’re channeling Bill Murray quite nicely these days. And I mean that as a complement.

  14. Woody says:

    Warren, you’re the best!

  15. jon evan says:

WK says women don’t like Tim.
So, my wife likes Tim I guess she’s not a woman!
Wow Warren it takes guts to tell my wife that!
