The worst person in the world

Rob Ford helped to elect progressives in every Ontario municipality on October 6.

Now he’s going to help elect progressives worldwide!

Partisianship aside, as Torontonians, we can only hope he gets out of Gaud without getting snagged in a cathouse or drunk-driving. I wish we could hope for more, but…

PS. If I were a part of the Toronto Conservative Party Establishment, I would be feeling like such a big fat piece of shit right now.

  2. TheSilentObserver says:

It was bound to happen eventually. Is it safe to say that any impression Toronto had of being a vibrant, tolerant, and progressive city is sleeping with the fishes? Whoever becomes Toronto’s next mayor should invite Warren as his/her special guest at their inaguration so he can detoxify the atmosphere lingering from Don Cherry’s fascist grandpa rant.

  3. Brad says:

I grew up in Etobicoke, the shit that went on in Royal York plaza courtesy of the Fudd brothers was awesome entertainment.

  4. frmr disgruntled Con now happy Lib says:

Do I detect a tad less sympathy for Mr. Ford these days, Mr. Kinsella?….

For the record, it wasnt a ball gown, Mr. Olberman…..I wonder how Mr. Ford would have reacted if Marg had worn her full “Warrior Princess” regalia…..the tunic and gauntlets AND the fake sword and matching armbands……

  5. CQ says:

Hudak lost all by himself, with an assist from ‘BOME’ MP Bob Dechert. An under 50% voting turnout says so.

  6. smelter rat says:

No, you’re the joke. Blair has zero credibility since the G20 fiasco. Ford could release the 911 tapes, then we’d know for sure what was said.

  7. Rotterdam says:

Not really. Olbermann numbers are 150,000 per night at best. Small potatoes.

  8. Matt says:

As Ms. Loretta Lynn said Rob Ford, “I don’t know who you are, but I know what you are…”

  9. MCBellecourt says:

Then the Chief and Rob Found-On-Route-Delusional should release the recordings and put the matter to rest, eh?

  10. MCBellecourt says:

In a previous post, Mr. K., you voiced frustration with the lack of direction of the Occupy movement. I think the Federal Liberals should use that as an opportunity to address the Movement and talk to them about the importance of voting. Provincially, you did good, real good, all things considered…but we can’t allow ourselves to be disillusioned with the Federal scene just yet. You are pretty good with words and have a knack for instilling a desire to succeed with whomever group you choose to align yourself with. There’s a lot of positive energy generated by provincial successes and perhaps that should be channeled to the Federal scene and directed at the people who need direction the most–namely, Occupy.

Gather up that energy. Use it. Don’t give up on it just yet.

    All the best, big guy.

  11. ben burd says:

If you believe that the people others voted for got us into this mess and you only see more of the same on the next ballot why bother voting?

  12. DL says:

I agee that Ford is one of if not THE worst person in the world – so all you big L Liberals who read this blog – I encourage you to call, e-mauil, fax and visit the follow big “L” Liberal city councillors who vote with Rob “Fucking” Ford 100% of the time and are totally entranced by him: Peter Milczyn, Michelle Berardinetti, Frances Nunziata, Cesar Palacio, Norm Kelly (and I’m sure there are others I can’t think of right now). One brave big “L” Liberal on council Shelley Carrol – he denounced these Liberal Ford enablers – but it isn’t enough – people who read Warren’s blog and maybe people like Warren himself need to ask these so-called Liberals why they keep supporting Ford and they should be told in no uncertain terms that they will become persona non grata in Liberal circles if they don’t “get with the program”

If Mary Walsh showed up at my house I would arrest her for trespass and show her how to use a real sword!
