Krista tries to remain poised as my jacket collar goes awry. Terror and chaos ensue.

It`s not fair when your hair is better than hers.

A little brandy, maybe? You can’t afford to waste good liquor, not on YOUR salary, Warren!

I hope she treated you nicer then Margie Gillis.

And personal information on a Canadian or anyone else flying out of a Canadian airport — regardless of destination — will be made available to Canadian authorities by the airline and can be obtained by the Americans on request.
“So if you fly Toronto to Europe, or anywhere of a non-U.S. destination, the Canadian government will know about it, something that is new. Americans will know about it too, despite your Canadian citizenship and despite the fact you won’t even be landing there.

To track this information along with the border exit-entry information, apparently a gigantic new database is going to be required:

“Ex-diplomat Colin Robertson told the Canadian Press this week that implementing the data collection for the entry-exit system could cost Canadian taxpayers up to $1-billion.”

Well, read all of that stuff above folks, it is so reasuring that the Conservative Government is protecting our freedom by eliminating the Long Gun Registry, that pesky database that sucks up our tax dollars and turns innocent gun owners into criminals. I guess they need the money for this new database that will let them know if you go to the bathroom on a vacation in Spain.

But, but , but….if you’ve done nothing wrong, you have nothing to fear, right?

      • Ted H says:

Yes, that makes me feel better, I have done nothing wrong.

I used to be afraid though that I might be asked to show my Freedom Card if I was late filling out the Census Long Form.

Governments will also look to align food safety standards, reduce duplicate meat and poultry inspections, and ensure food safety testing conducted in one country is acceptable to regulators in both Canada and the U.S.

    Bon Appetit, mes amis!

Nobody has to go to the US or fly over their airspace. Ipso facto – no problem.

  8. You draw attention to the collar being up and then I can’t focus on anything except clothes. Any logos on your T-shirt? Are you wearing trousers? Jammies? A kilt?
