—“The number was ours”

Good on Albrecht. His party, meanwhile, are led by the biggest bunch of scumbags to hold power in Ottawa since, well, ever.
They’re going to keep doing this sort of shit, too, until someone is found culpable. That’s where my focus would be – jailing a few of these Segretti wannabes. Comb the Code to find any and all sections that would apply. And then keep going at them, relentlessly.
Obstruction, etc., of electoral process
482. Every person is guilty of an offence who
- (a) by intimidation or duress, compels a person to vote or refrain from voting or to vote or refrain from voting for a particular candidate at an election; or
- (b) by any pretence or contrivance, including by representing that the ballot or the manner of voting at an election is not secret, induces a person to vote or refrain from voting or to vote or refrain from voting for a particular candidate at an election.
They are scumbags and they are making it more evident everyday. They have already started their assault on publicly funded healthcare.
And yet, older voters who have the most to loose were a reliable constituency for them. I don’t get it. I am an older voter and I would rather stick needles in my eyes than vote Conservative.

It gets ridiculous, Tina Keeper lost her seat because the cons started telling natives in the north they had to go to Winnipeg to vote. Seats flipped in Ontario where letters on Elections Canada (fake) letterhead were sent announcing poll location changes. The letters were dropped off duing the day to people with Liberal signs so that when they went home they would not bother going out to vote. The brakelines cut, does no one remember that.
The Conservative party is just a bunch of thugs with absolutly no moral compass, they can justify everything and anything by the need to “Save Canada” from the socialists and return it to “traditional” values. My relatives who fought in wars did not do it so that our PM could lead a party that has become expert in fixing elections, from excedding spending to voter suppresion we need UN observers here.
No one realizes that elections Canada really has no resources to investigate these things, no feet on the ground, no enforcment power, it needs to be fixed and soon because our elections are broken.
In the category of actions having consequences.
A company in Boisbriand is finding out first hand that Canada’s actions on the world stage have a trickle-down effect.
ThinkGlass was close to sealing a deal for a high-end architectural glass installation for a nightclub in Britain when Environment Minister Peter Kent announced that Canada was pulling out of the Kyoto accord. The British company ThinkGlass was working with abruptly cancelled the deal. Its owner says he feels sorry for the Quebec firm, but his conscience will not allow him to do business with Canada as it seeks to pollute the world.

The sad fact is that the owner(s) of this Québec firm and its employees probably didn’t vote Conservative…
> He said he found the ownership of the number troubling and the message unprofessional.
Firelog beat me to the punch, but it’s charming how suddenly Albrecht has an idea what unprofessional means. Don’t ever turn your back on one of these guys…
Where is board Refoor…ahem, Con apologist Gordon Tulk’s rejoinder?…..
Still waiting for his talking points, no doubt.
…….crickets……
It says that the calls were coming from Lambton County – any idea exactly where?
