I still think she was being a brat, baiting and antagonizing the police.
I’m surprised so many people think the cop was in the wrong.
He did exactly what I would expect and desire him to do.
This new generation needs to learn some respect.
A just society doesn’t mean we bait and antagonize law enforcement or does it?
The police should be like everyone else. They should have to earn respect. They just don’t get it because they put on a uniform. And they don’t get it for acting like power hungry prats.
Bill, do you really think the Officer handled the situation well? He did exactly what you would expect and desire him to do? Even assuming he should have budded in as he did (the female officer seemed to have the “situation” under control), are you happy with the way he did it? I guess you and I hold the police to different standards of professionalism.
Yes, I’m happy that she went to jail. I’m old school. I think baiting and antagonizing anyone is unacceptable and dangerous.
I don’t see this as a police standard of professionalism issue as you do. In my view this incident show cases a new generation of brats that really have no cause, just there to stir shit up. Locked them all up i say.
So you are happy with his attitude an they way he handled it? If you got stopped for say, going through a red light, you would accept a cop who berated you and acted aggressively towards you? How do you explain that the female cop didn’t intervene and seems put off by his approach?
Going through a red light and purposely baiting and antagonizing a police officer are completely different situations.
| feel the female cop was to passive. People will walk all over her if she continues with this approach.

You forgot to add…”and get off my lawn!”
Well, dang! If you have indeed “upset” Mrs. Bubbles, surly Mr. Bubbles will have to tune you in.
You punk rock lawyers are all the same.

I have been waiting for it all of my long, long life. A world in which you get respect if you earn it. Is it here yet? No. Dang.

I expect more from a professional police officer.
