But don’t hold your breath

We all await a condemnation of this hate crime by John Baird, Jason Kenney and/or the Office for Religious Freedom.

But, as noted, we won’t be holding our breath.

Warren, here’s some definitions from the Conservative dictionary:

    HATE CRIME: (doesn’t exist)
    CRIME AGAINST WHITES: See, “terrorism”.
    CRIME AGAINST MINORITIES: See, “self-defense”.

Dan, here’s some definitions from the Liberal dictionary:

HATE CRIME: Let’s hug the offenders and shit on the victims. Lets rehabilitate them, Christians and Muslim have only every had love for each other, let them back out rehabilitated. Hate crimes fixed (wink, wink).

CRIME AGAINST WHITE: No big deal, whites will be the minority in 40 years. We don’t care about Whites.
CRIME AGAINST MINORITIES: Big problem, hurry and make a fuss, we are losing the “city” votes.

Here’s some definitions from the Canadian Criminal Code:

83.01 (1) The following definitions apply in this Part.

        “terrorist activity” means

        (b) an act or omission, in or outside Canada,

        (i) that is committed

        (A) in whole or in part for a political, religious or ideological purpose, objective or cause, and

        (B) in whole or in part with the intention of intimidating the public, or a segment of the public, with regard to its security, including its economic security, or compelling a person, a government or a domestic or an international organization to do or to refrain from doing any act, whether the public or the person, government or organization is inside or outside Canada, and

        (ii) that intentionally

        (A) causes death or serious bodily harm to a person by the use of violence,

        (B) endangers a person’s life,

        (C) causes a serious risk to the health or safety of the public or any segment of the public,

        (D) causes substantial property damage, whether to public or private property, if causing such damage is likely to result in the conduct or harm referred to in any of clauses (A) to (C), or

        (E) causes serious interference with or serious disruption of an essential service, facility or system, whether public or private, other than as a result of advocacy, protest, dissent or stoppage of work that is not intended to result in the conduct or harm referred to in any of clauses (A) to (C),

and includes a conspiracy, attempt or threat to commit any such act or omission, or being an accessory after the fact or counselling in relation to any such act or omission, but, for greater certainty, does not include an act or omission that is committed during an armed conflict and that, at the time and in the place of its commission, is in accordance with customary international law or conventional international law applicable to the conflict, or the activities undertaken by military forces of a state in the exercise of their official duties, to the extent that those activities are governed by other rules of international law.

You lost me…..what are you trying to say???

          • Dan says:

I’m trying to say you’re an idiot, and you’re making stuff up that you can easily find with google.

          • Bill says:

Your comments on the “conservative” dictionary needed a liberal version. Thought it required a response. I still think your criminal code “paste” in doesn’t make much sense. I think we all agree terrosist activity is illegal.

          • Pat says:

“CRIME AGAINST WHITE: No big deal, whites will be the minority in 40 years. We don’t care about Whites.”

I’m pretty sure there isn’t a single liberal that actually thinks that way. A crime is a crime. Why do you think there are so many more ethnic minorities represented in prison?

Since when does a liberal hug the offender of a hate crime, or shit on the victim? Give an example at least. I’m not sure if you understand this, but the offender is the one who actually commits the hate crime, and those people are often white people, so I’m confused by your statement – do liberals hug white people, or hate them?

On a more cynical note, I’m also pretty sure that even if white people become the minority every political party will put more emphasis on them than other groups – they hold many of the power positions, and that isn’t likely to change (unless society makes a crazy 180).

          • Bill says:

Pat, your conservative dictionary was not truthful, so I followed your lead and exaggerated alittle.

            Things that are true:

Liberals hug all offenders doesn’t matter if it is a hate crime, murder, child rape, etc.

Are you kidding that white people commit the most hate crimes? Your delusional. Islamic terrorists
tops the list, you know, the guy’s that like to blow them selfs up with lots of white people around. Terrorism
            is hate crime on steroids.

The same Islamic Center was just targeted with hateful graffiti. There really ought to be a statement from someone:

I park in front of this building every week. Very pleasant architecture, quiet street, friendly people going in and out. Really sad.
