Life goes very fast

In this extraordinary case, in less than three minutes. Don’t be surprised if this affects you emotionally.

i guess i was warned, i should have taken it more seriously.

watching this at work was frickin’ stupid.

wait until you’re home so you can hug your lil’uns instead.

  2. Shaun says:

“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it,” said someone wise.

  3. Please God don’t let her go work for Canada’s RCMP, they will destroy her inside and out beauty.

  4. Michael Teper says:

    All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players:
    They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages. At first, the infant,
Mewling and puking in the nurse’s arms.
And then the whining school-boy, with his satchel
And shining morning face, creeping like snail
Unwillingly to school. And then the lover,
Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad
Made to his mistress’ eyebrow. Then a soldier,
Full of strange oaths and bearded like the pard,
Jealous in honour, sudden and quick in quarrel,
    Seeking the bubble reputation
Even in the cannon’s mouth. And then the justice,
In fair round belly with good capon lined,
With eyes severe and beard of formal cut,
    Full of wise saws and modern instances;
And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts
Into the lean and slipper’d pantaloon,
With spectacles on nose and pouch on side,
His youthful hose, well saved, a world too wide
For his shrunk shank; and his big manly voice,
Turning again toward childish treble, pipes
And whistles in his sound. Last scene of all,
That ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion,
Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.

Well, I was in a bit of a pissy mood because my evening was going to be spent moving #2 daughter out of her dorm and back home for the summer, doesnt seem so bad now.

  6. Tim Sullivan says:

That’s a stupid video. My newborn girl at CHEO for an unknown infection at 10 days will take forever to get that old ….

no, wait, she’s 4 1/2, and her brother will be 3 years old soon.

    Nevermind.

  7. All the more poignant given the news articles on Madeleine McCann.

  8. Not that Gord says:

Oh great. Now I’m all verklempt. My little girl just turned three and it’s a bit of a shocker to realize she’s a quarter of the way there already.

  9. Nurie Jahangeer says:

Thank you for that beautiful video, Warren.

Indeed, life does go very fast and I believe we all have a responsibility to help our fellow beings through life, be it feeding
a squirrel peanuts on a cold winter morning when food for wild animals is very scarce; giving your spare pocket change to a homeless person on a chilly late autumn evening; helping a frail old lady with her grocery bags; being patient when speaking to a new immigrant who is taking your order at Tim Horton’s who does not speak English as good as you do; finding the humour in a telemarketer, who is just trying to feed his or her family on a single income, calling you at an inopportune time as opposed to verbally abusing them, ect.

  10. Marc J says:

Thanks Warren. I showed it to my wife who promptly cursed at me and got kleenex. Got a 3 and 1 year and it’s going too fast.

  11. Visionseeker says:

Yup. 3 minutes is about how much time has passed for my oldest to reach 9. Man! It seems like yesterday that she pushed my hands away to walk on her own and proceeded to circle the dinning room table 71 and a half times.
