Toronto needs a mayor

…because we sure as Hell don’t have one now. Enough is enough with this bloody fool.

Here’s the guy I want to be Mayor, and he’d win, too.

  1. Mr. Murdoch esq. says:

Bob Richardson never returned my emails or calls, so anyone who would do that to me, shows discriminating taste and good judgement and I agree, he deserves to be Mayor and would win.

  2. Derek Pearce says:

Anyone would be better. Hell, even I’d be better, and that frightens me! As long as it’s not Mammoliti or Minnan-Wong (though, even they’d be better), I’d be happy with anyone else.

  3. Ted B says:

“I’ve said this from day one: I’ve made a commitment, I’ve done it for 20 years, and I’m not changing.”

Is it even possible for our mayor to open his mouth and not have a lie spill out?

During the election he promised to step down as coach.

  4. Michael Reintjes says:

at least you don’t have Joe Fontana….

  5. patrick says:

But the rest of the country would be disappointed at losing their morning laugh.
It’s so depressing that someone like this can actually win an election, never mind not being considered a joke canidate. I understand voter anger, I don’t understand voter insanity.

  6. Michael Reintjes says:

…who is starting to make Rob Ford look like a genius…

  7. Kelly says:

Canada is a weak democracy at every level — largely because of our phony electoral system. We should have proportional representation at the provincial and federal level and run-off elections at the municipal level. Our electoral system gave us mayor dumbass — the majority of voters sure as hell didn’t.

  8. Robert K. says:

Is Bob really interested or are you winding him up for a laugh?

That said, he’s a great guy and would do well on the campaign trail.

  9. Mulletaur says:

Richardson is an unknown, an insider with no profile. At best, he’ll split the anti-Ford vote. At worst, he’ll be humiliated.
