Wasn’t Boudria the MP and not MPP for Prescott-Russell? Regardless, Mme Pupatello seems to be racking up some good supporters.
Both, MPP for Prescott and Russell in the early 80s. MP for Glengarry – Prescott – Russell after leaving the ONT leg.
But, yes Pupatello does have some solid support.
Thanks Gary. Didn’t know about Boudria’s stint in provincial politics. I remember him from his Rat Pack days in Ottawa. I’m following the Ontario Liberal leadership race from afar in New Brunswick. Pretty interesting. We have just gone through one in New Brunswick and selected a great young and dynamic bilingual leader by the name of Brian Gallant. Keep that name in mind as he’ll likely be the next Premier of our province.
I just looked up your Mr. Gallant. Very impressive man. Here’s wishing him well in 2014. I hope he can assemble a good team and win. It might be an insight into what the “Harper Government” can expect from New Brunswick voters in 2015. Do provincial liberal voting intentions tend to translate into votes for their federal liberal cousins in NB? In Ontario it can often have the reverse effect.
