Yuck.

Meah, I guess The Star can do what it wants and I wont really have to get use to it anyway. As soon as the pay-wall is up I’ll never read it again. Pay-walls; the lazy company’s idea of smart revenue generation. A bit sad to see them sink.

  2. Dan says:

It’s annoying, because I think the old one looked simple and clean. However, it reminds me of when Facebook changes its’ look and you get the 100 status demanding Facebook switch back to the old forum.
    Embrace change.

I like it. The old one was a PITA.

  4. Eric says:

I’m going to miss Doug Smith’s Raptors coverage when the pay wall goes up. Bummer.

  5. Bobbi says:

I didn’t mind it, especially compared to their mandatory tablet layout.

  6. Anne Peterson says:

No, only embrace change that’s good.

  7. TokyoJoe says:

But it will still contain the fevered rantings of Heather Mallick

  8. Janet says:

I don’t like it. I find difficulty finding the major news of the day. None of the headlines stick out. As someone stated above, the old website was “clean and simple” to read. I miss the weather report being at the top of the page.
    Very disappointed.
