Calling all federal Liberals for a favour

Son One, age fourteen, has the political bug. He was a proud Pupatello delegate in January, and wants to come with me to the convention in Ottawa on Sunday, where the new leader will be announced.
Dad – who will be doing pro-Liberal media, and is old and forgetful – forgot to get him a ticket. It is now sold out.

Can any Liberal (campaign or otherwise) use the help of a strapping 14-year-old who wants to be Prime Minister one day? He’ll work for convention access. Also, he is smarter than his father.

can likely get one for you.

  2. I ♥ Justin says:

I’d donate my ticket but I’ll be there for Justin. This will be my first leadership convention too. I’m 18.

  3. MCBellecourt says:

Warren, I’d love to help out, too but I’m on the other end of the country. However, I do have some good news for you on the Parsons case. It looks like public pressure has brought forth results, and hopefully, it will wake people up to what they can do when they speak as one voice.

I thought I should put it here because I know how important this is for everyone, and I figured you’d notice it more quickly here. It just came up within the last hour (it is 3:35PM BC time).

You, undoubtedly, can take a lot of credit for this latest development and I wish I could shake your hand right now.

Best of luck to your No. 1 Son, hope he gets to go!

    Here’s the story.

Great job Warren. I hope this brings justice to the child and her family and the rapists. To those sworn to protect the public and are paid to do so, should feelo the sting of abrupt unemployment.

      I thank Anonymous too!

By now I bet your have a ticket for Son 1 and if he is anything like his Dad, he will be a great one!

      Wilhelm Reich.

      Depression killed this girl.
The illusion is that Stephen Harper gives a shit.
The reality is he doesn’t. If he did he’d have delivered these weasel words in Halifax. If he’s got time for panda’s in Toronto he’s got time to visit this family. Obama would have and Harper ain’t no Obama.

  4. Jenny says:

As a woman who has been raped, I think you’re an asshole for discrediting Stephen Harper’s comments. Most men are totally awkward about rape and avoid the topic at all costs or look at you differently if you let them know you’ve been raped. Obama didn’t comment or push for legislation after the Steubenville rape fiasco, which was very similar to this situation, except that the victim hasn’t killed herslf.

    • ray says:

For Jenny and by extension Harper.

how about a manifesto we might all agree on.
I can’t nail it on a door the way Luther did because we live in an electronic age so here go

Thanks for calling me an asshole and may you and your misplaced rage have a very nice day.

  5. Jenny says:

That comment was for Ray but I don’t think it threaded properly.

  6. Glen says:

The best thing we can do for our children is urge them to not get involved in partisan politics.

  7. DSMITH says:

If your son wants to be PM he should choose between joining the Tories and the NDP.
