Cheap to drive, but it almost killed me and my wife when at minus 30 Celsius in Northern Alberta the gas heater burned through and blackened our faces and lungs!
We then bought a more reliable and spacious 1969 Volvo 240 thalaws drove for 10 years and was sold off for half it’s original price! The student that bought it trashed it within a year delivering Pizza!
Ah yes…..fond memories of my two best friends(twins) and I crammed in the back of the “doggy seat” as we used to call it, as we headed to some such lake…….it would probably be classed as child abuse today……
but at the time……it was pure joy……
