BC gets nasty – and I like it!

The NDP should’ve listened to me.

Best part, though, is this Gordon Wilson quote:

“Some New Democrats are really mad and let me know it,” Wilson told me Monday.

“I only re-joined the Liberals, for Pete’s sake! It’s not like I pulled on a Toronto Maple Leafs sweater.”

He hates the Leafs! He can’t be all bad!

“Anyone can rat, but it takes a certain amount of ingenuity to re-rat”- Sir Winston Churchill (a re-ratter himself)….

Wonder if they welcomed Judy Tyabji with open arms as well…..

But does the NDP still do his laundry?

    Nobody cares about Gordon Wilson.

You’re making it seem like the NDP is behind. They are not. The race has tightened — a bit. However, BC is always polarized. As long as the NDP tops the polls –even by a little bit — the party wins. The NDP can even lose the popular vote by a bit and still win a majority. NDP support across ridings is efficient — and the party has an amazing get-out-the-vote record. Premier Dix will soon be figuring out who in his large caucus to put in cabinet and will be sizing up a leaderless BC Liberal opposition. (The odds are against Christy Clark winning Vancouver Pt. Grey.)

Until the BC”liberals” actually realign themselves with the Federal Liberals, Warren, they will be known here as the big lie. This bunch of recycled Socreds and Reformers have done great damage to the Liberal brand in BC. The corruption in this phony “liberal” government is rampant. 2013 will be a year of discovery after they get thrown out, I assure you, and it will not be pretty.

I’ve witnessed the results of some of their horrible policies which hurt the most vulnerable people in this province. They are very, very right wing and more aligned with Harper.

Exactly! Its why Im surprised that Wilson is propping crusty up, as Wilson lost the party to the socred pack…led by campbell. the socreds keeping stealing other parties and flying a new flag with the same BS, and then imploding the party. Next up, stealing the bc cons party.

DEb, how would you like someone calling you names (Crusty) like you do? You are disgusting and way out of line. I would expect that behavior from a child but not a supposedly credible adult. You may be in store for a complete letdown and maybe left eating your words. Most, older people in BC have experienced hardships and no jobs and businesses have either had to close or move out of BC in order to survive. But, you wouldn’t know that would you as you were likely to young to understand or know what the NDP failures were during the late nineties. Sounds like you’re still to young to know any better.

My family moved to BC in 1970 with a job but when we got there, the whole town was on strike and the job was gone with the actions of the NDP and their unions. Even the local cable station was on strike and that job my husband had never panned out because of all the strikes.

I would never vote for that party ever again. Burnt to many times while the only jobs were for minimum wages and having to work making up beds and cleaning rooms in a hotel in my town in order to be able to cloth, feed our young children. My husband had to work in the logging industry making a poor man’s wage while being a carpenter tradesman and a licensed wheel alignment trade. That’s what your unions did for the average working person. Not a lot!! Even having a trade was no guarantee that you could get a good job with a livable wage. Families were leaving BC for Alberta for jobs in order to make a living in order to make their mortgage payments.

BTW, I have a lot of friends who are not Liberals but are placing their votes with the liberals.

Ah, Gord Wilson, shilling for the Howe Street hucksters who bought Wilson’s liberal party away from him.

(I cannot figure out what he gets from this.)

I wondered that too, I bet Crusty promised him a political position somewhere. I wonder if Judy is as keen as him, I hope not!

      • dave says:

A political blog called ‘2010 Gold Rush’ has info on Wilson’s affairs these days. It might suggest some rationale to Gord Wilson’s behaviour.

        • deb s says:

          thanks…I will look it up:)

and I read it…that guy just cant catch a break…well he definitely is backed into a corner. Wilson… I guess he was really never cut out for politicking with the BC sharks. I guess he is over a barrel or under a bridge which ever you want to look at it…and has to smile for the camaras and suck it up now that he is broke and being sued:P
