Cleveland: the greatest interview in the history of live television
Charles Ramsay is more than my new hero; he is a total rock star. Some of the lines he has contributed to history are below. Added bonus: the scary-looking skinhead beside him, with tats on his neck.
- “He’s got some big testicles to pull this off.”
- “I barbecued with this dude, we eat ribs and what not, listen to salsa music.”
- “Bro, I knew something was wrong when a little pretty white girl ran into a black man’s arms. Something is wrong here. Dead giveaway.“
- “She homeless or she got problems. Only reason she runnin’ to a black man.”
Ya man I love this guy. Check out his 911 call too. Some great lines…………and a great day for him as well as the girls he rescued.
I liked (it was something like) “they were malnourished, definetly not coming from fitcity”
How many other people would have turned the other way if they thought it was a domestic dispute? Makes me think there might be hope for humankind yet.

Wow, what a story. One of the most interesting, spontaneous interviews ever. He says so much in so little time. The reaction to his remarks says even more. People were chuckling. I was chuckling watching this but felt like I shouldn’t be, because it is still so sad. Suppose this happened somewhere in Canada and someone made similar remarks. I think people would be much more cautious to laugh at that, if they laughed at all.

It’s a distrbing story with a happy ending. I think Canadians would be fine with comments like that coming from the guy who saved the day.

I paused and read the back of his vest. A very modest young fella and I’m sure his mama must be so proud.
