Unidentified young man wake boards, may have future in politics

Spotted yesterday in Cape Hatteras, North Carolina. This youngster from Canada was planning on taking kiteboarding lessons, but since there wasn’t a lot of wind, he opted for the wake boarding part.

Damn, his name is on the tip of my tongue.

Some day Canadians should be told what happened the night of the Referendum at the G.G. Residence in the Citadel in Quebec City, some day Canadians will realize the loyalty this man showed Canada and the limits he went to. It is a shame, that Trudeau got his moment with a single remark “Just watch me” when this man, has shown remarkable humility.

      Well said.

Well, Trudeau and Chretien both won three majority governments… Trudeau just needed two more elections, that’s all. đŸ™‚

Two Prime Ministers from Quebec have done more for Alberta oil sands development than one Prime Minister from Calgary. Trudeau invested with Peter Lougheed, Bill Davis and Imperial Oil to build Syncrude and begin large scale commercial development of the oil sands; Chretien collaborated with Klein to provide incentives to promote oil sands expansion; Harper met with the Premiers of Alberta and BC, industry, Aboriginal groups and environmentalists to…. okay, he didn’t but he should have. Instead, Harper has been absent, even worse, his government has antagonized environmentalists and Aboriginal leaders. The lost opportunity costs of lack of access to tidewater, world markets and world prices will cost Alberta more than the National Energy Program. Suncor has already cancelled a planned $11 billion oil sands project. One final note: Trudeau and Chretien helped develop the oil sands at the same time as they were facing sovereigntist threats in Quebec. What is distracting Harper? So, it’s good to see Chretien enjoying life!

What was his name? He was very poo-poo-lare.

What an absolutely fabulous photo of a great person and a great leader!

The contrast is all the more remarkable considering Harper, half of his Cabinet, as well as Toronto’s Ford brothers all look like they will explode if they do anything as strenuous as bending over to tie their shoe laces.

I’m just ashamed that he appears to be a better wakeboarder at age 79 than I am at 27…

You know, I was never a huge JC fan, and I have never voted Liberal (although that may change if I don’t spoil my ballot in the next election), but if he were running today against the current cadre of “leaders”, he would have my vote in a heartbeat. Good on him for putting men half his age to shame. Impressive!
