Toronto needs a mayor: Rob Ford, snorting coke in a back room with a hooker?

Jesus. This scumbag makes me want to take a shower, he’s so dirty.

Sun got the scoop on this one. Credit where it’s due.

    whose the real maggot?…

  3. Chris says:

Mammolitti just suggested that Smitherman as a recovering addict would likely have found himself in the same situation as Rob Ford if he has been elected.

    • Reality.Bites says:

Mammolitti aspires to someday be the class act Rob Ford is. Sadly he’s still far short of the mark.

Perhaps that will be Ford’s 2014 campaign slogan, “Hey! At least I’m not Mammolitti”

Remember the old Batman TV series with Adam West? Recall the show where “The Penguin” played by Burgess Meredith got elected Mayor of Gotham City? Well that’s exactly how I feel!!

  5. Iris Mclean says:

Again, I have to feel sorry for his wife and two young kids. This SOB is beyond scary. Imagine what they’ve been and are going through. Let’s hope there are some non-Fords looking out for them.

“I’m going to eat you out” “I banged your pussy” – Rob Ford to his former staffer Olivia Gondek

    • Tania says:

What?!?! Where did this come from? Is it true??

      • Chris says:

It’s in the newly released portions of the Ito document. He also told a city hall security guard that he was going to ‘eat her box’. This is all from an interview with former Ford staffer Isaac Ransom.

      • !o! says:

“The documents also reveal a physical altercation involving Olivia Gondek, a staffer. According to Mr. Towhey, Mr. Ford was “very inebriated, verbally abusive and being inappropriate with her,” the documents read. According to Mr. Ransom, Mr. Ford claimed to have slept with her. “I’m going to eat you out,” and “I banged your pussy,” were some of the comments he made to Ms. Gondek, Mr. Ransom told police. She did not appear to be fazed by the comments, he told police.

That’s when Mr. Provost and Mr. Barnett stepped in — the mayor allegedly pushed Mr. Provost down and “raised his hand like he was going to punch him. The mayor then charged Mr. Barnett and pushed him against the wall and pulled his hand back like he was going to strike him.”

For the record, Olivia Gondek has come out this evening and said Ford never made any comments to her like those reported in the NP story.

      From Robyn Doolittle’s twitter:

      robyndoolittle ‏@robyndoolittle 6h
I just received this note from Olivia Gondek: Mayor Ford has never made comments of that nature to me…

      robyndoolittle ‏@robyndoolittle 6h
… I was not present at the time the alleged comments were made and I was unaware of them.” – Gondek

Never mind his self-abuse, it’s the drink driving that scares me. He’s a menace on the roads.

  8. david ray says:

Unbelievable display by Doug Ford today. Don’t we have a version of Jesse Ventura to have a private chat with these two clowns.

  9. Chris says:

I feel sort of bad for the woman who has been “outed” as a prostitute with her real name.

  10. Redhill says:

I bet it’s not half over, and not half as bad as it’s going to get. Weren’t hits ordered?

  11. Hunter Mars says:

I wonder if he still beats his wife .

An anecdotal tale about real people, some of whom remind me somewhat of Ford, and his brother. Let me start with this, and it tickled my fancy at the time. No Class Bobby Bass.

Bobby Bass was an assumed name for a fellow who was a 3rd rate wrestler back in the day, and the no class handle really wasn’t fair because he came from poor roots and was just trying to do the best he could with what he had. Unlike the Fords, who were born into money and privilege.

Bobby Bass was an undercard guy on the Atlantic Grand Prix Wrestling circuit, and there were some interesting cats who were part of that. Everything from strong as a bull Acadian lads who lived through the depression and had to go work for anglo farmers for room and board while they were still teenagers, to Archie Goldie, the Stomper from Calgary. Another colorful soul was Killer Karl Krupp whose deadly weapon was the German Claw. Actually he was from Albert County NB, where Rob Moore is the MP. There was another wrestler from that area whose name eludes me at the moment, but I remember his lifestyle was very similar to Fords, and he died young.

None of those fellows were born into privilege, like the Fords.

Most were hard drinkers, and they could party like the Mayor of Toronto, only they never aspired to be Mayor of Toronto or any other community. They knew who they were, and what they were. Rough men, some with good hearts, some not so much. Some, the better actors and more physically imposing even traveled to foreign lands such as Japan, and were treated similarly to the Sumo Wrestlers. A great draw, and their needs were accommodated.

All that said, one of the saddest things I witnessed in my youthful years while attending at Grand Prix Wrestling events at the Seaside Arena in Shediac NB, was one of Canada’s greatest light heavyweight fighters, Yvon Durelle, reduced to playing to the crowd in Grand Prix Wrestling. Should add even the rugged Acadian boys referred to above, who I knew, complained about going in the ring with Yvon. They said, damn he punches way too hard and it goddam well hurts.

But Yvon had more personal pride and dignity in his darkest hours, than the Fords. He was born to a family of fisherman, and was a fisherman before he was ‘discovered’ and subsequently used. He had the able but old Archie Moore on the ropes in the early rounds, but his small town manager said, “give the people a show Yvon” He lost in the late rounds to an old, trained and grisled fighter, one of the greatest in his time.

There is wisdom to be gleaned in all that for the Ford nation and the uber lefties who believe if it feels good, just do it. Hey, I want to hang out my junk and demand the federal gov’t subsidize my parade .

Meanwhile, and in other not so sexy news, no imminent US cruise missile attacks pending, one hell of a battle is looming in Syria just a few miles from the Lebanese border and the Saudi’s are openly financing the Islamist insurgents with yet another $300 million. Search Qalamoun mountains offensive. Real people, real lives. And the Western media turns away.

In the words of Forrest Gump, that’s I all have to say about that.

    • Derek Pearce says:

This was a hot mess of a comment. Equating “lefties” with Ford’s reckless behaviour is about as obtuse as you can get. Nice try. No actually, piss-poor try. Focus maybe on how Ford should show some goddamned personal responsibility next time.

The departure lounge at Logan had a chorus of boos (Imagine NY Yankees) when Rob Ford came on CNN tonight.

  14. Chris says:

    This is pretty sad:

“The document states that Towhey escorted Ford downstairs by the coat check area to get him away from people. Towhey also ordered a junior staff member, Nico Fidani, to take Ford’s two kids to McDonald’s to eat “while he convinced the mayor to do a quick walk through, shake some hands and not speak to anyone.”

This Towhey guy sounds all right to me though.

  15. Danny says:

Hookers! But of course. The only thing missing was a couple of call girls.
This story just gets better every day.

  16. smelter rat says:

Why isn’t Children’s Aid involved with the Ford family? Holy Moley.

    • Iris Mclean says:

The CAS is supposed to investigate whenever a concern is brought to their attention.
I’m sure, or hope they are on it by now.

  17. Bruce A says:

Hate saying it but, the only way Rob Ford is exiting City Hall is with handcuffs or on a stretcher.

  18. Stan Delaware says:

The National Post gets full points for pushing the propaganda envelope. One headline: “‘I was a full-blown cokehead’: Mike Tyson reveals he was high during fights, used fake penis to fool testers” is placed only inches away from, “‘Bring it on, buddy’: Toronto council resembles a boxing ring as Ford comes under attack over drug use.” The parallels are there – two massive, aggressive, raging coke-fueled men terrorizing just about everyone in their respective orbits. Tyson will sadly be remembered as the ear biter, drunken backyard driver and crasher of BMWs, and a convicted and incarcerated rapist. Ford has yet to be charged with anything – if there was ever a case illustrating institutionalized bias, this might be it – unlike Tyson, Ford cannot point to a nightmarish childhood as the root cause – society has coddled him into l’enfant terrible of today. My team is trying to ascertain whether Ford is utilizing fake genitalia – potential drug testers beware.

  19. Matt says:

Ford just announced he is suing three former staff, Thowey, Ransom, Christopolus , and the waiter who claimed he was doing coke in the backroom of a resturant.

  20. Paul says:

you can drink coke anywhere in a restaurant in Ottawa

  21. patrick says:

“I didn’t say I was going to eat her %#@! That’s not true. I have enough to eat at home.
I want warnings when things like this come on the radio. I nearly drove off the road.
