She wrote a truly despicable piece on Smitherman and the death of Christopher Peloso.
Like vile, hate filled stuff including the use of quotes around the word husband, mocking of their marriage ceremony and insinuations of drug use and risky sexual behaviour.
(All this was under the guise of an extended whine that the “media” tried to destroy Ford for his completely wholesome indiscretions but will give Smitherman a pass)
I don’t understand what sort of person can use the suicide of a spouse as the basis for a “gotcha” piece on a politician they disagree with.
I almost hate to write comments like this because I am sure that disgusting troll gets off on reading them.
She’s one to talk about substance abuse.
If she’s not careful, someone is likely to tell her story.
THAT is a story I would love to hear, especially with the despicable ‘stories’ she writes about others.

If it’s who I think you mean, she’s the best example of a dry drunk I know of in Canadian punditry.
No real reason to believe she has, and she admits to having had the problems, but someone who still thinks she’s the smartest person in the room, able to say “I’m always right” without pretending very hard to be joking, clearly learned nothing in AA.
