Cars are just dirty machinery and don’t deserve housing; only some nominal covering to avoid snow and rain. Every architect I know have separated the garage from the main residence, and it’s to isolate the stench of cars from the living quarters… in the houses they design for themselves and family. Of course, all their houses are minimalist and not really suitable for women and children.
Modern minimalist houses are known as “male” houses; while heavily gabled gingerbread houses filled with knicknacks and fancy curtains and ornate fireplaces are “female” houses… no kidding.
I want the car. I want the garage. Then I’d turn the garage into my house, the car, it can have half the house.
Kids would love a “tree fort” like that! Lots of room to play and watch the water.

Ferris was an asshole, and a user. Tormented guy should have found a new best friend.
