Some people will do anything for a buck

Mercenaries lecturing loyalists about loyalty. It’d be funny if it wasn’t so pathetic.

  1. davie says:

I am milllions of centimeters away from all this, but I don’t see this will be much of a problem. I just do not see local party members nominating Adams. They simply have every reason to nominate someone else, and not much reason to nominate her.

    • Matt says:

That’s where Justin steps in, overrides the riding association and appoints Adams the candidate.

Something by the way, he is well within his rights to do as party leader, but again will provide terrible optics after promising open nominations.

  2. Matt says:

A little birdie tells me he’s been told the Liberals have created an entire management team within the national headquarters to “police” Eve Adams’ career from here on in.

  3. DonW says:

Who is coaching J. Trudeau on all these decisions? Who’s in his War Room? Eve Adams has had the word LIABILITY tattooed on her forehead for years. Why would JT’s advisors take such a chance on a floor-crosser with such a shaky rep? What were they thinking? And she doesn’t stand a chance of being nominated. A lose-lose-lose deal. If amateur political watchers can see this, why can’t the hired guns see it? Have they fallen for their own spin?

    • Matt says:

Because they wanted her boyfriend/fiance/husband (whichever he is this week) Dimitri Soudas to help plan their campaign strategy, specifically for Quebec.

Taking Adams and giving her a riding to ru in was the price they had to pay.

      • Elisabeth Lindsay says:

Since when did Liberals take in sleazy people to help run their campaigns? This just sounds nuts to me.

  4. Bill says:

But Warren, the Big Red Tent also has an Orange Door (Bob Rae) and a Blue Door (Eve Adams) and maybe even a Green Window (Liz May uncontested). Is there a Door for you or have you found the Exit Door federally, courtesy of Justin-Butts?

  5. Ronald O'Dowd says:

    Un sérieux manque de jugement.

Nothing quite like putting our own Quebec strategists in such a favourable light. Job well done all around…
