As you can see, there is a clear consensus in Canada about who we want to lead us.

I want to see the polls comparing to these ones after tonights economic debate. Granted I know a lot of voters won’t watch it. Still, this is where some movement in the polls may start.

    Warren,

This election will play out on gut feelings and instinct rather than a key issue (like the economy). Which do voters want more than the other? Which issue is the number one ranking one, and which, second ranking?

Getting rid of Harper ranks first. Giving Justin his chance, second. If they don’t want to deal with Harper in opposition, then that means giving the Liberals a majority.

  3. JH says:

You have to wonder, do the people running these polling firm realize how much they are discrediting their industry with this kind of crap?
As is any supposedly thinking citizen who pays the least bit of attention to them.

    • doconnor says:

When three parties are all well within the margin of error of each other, this is a perfectly normal and statistically reasonable result.

Hopefully a thinking citizen would have a small understanding of statistical variance.

As you can see, there is a clear consensus in Canada about who we want to lead us. – Perhaps not; but, there seems to be a clear consensus about who we do not want to lead us.

  5. Maps Onburt says:

Yeah, a Conservative Minority or Majority! 🙂

  6. Matt says:

    Translation:

The pollsters havn’t got a friggen clue what is going to happen.

  7. Derek Pearce says:

No party is getting a majority, no way no how. It depends on how motivated each of the parties’ supporters are to get out and vote on election day, and I fear, but have accepted, this favours the Conservatives. So once the House resumes sitting then the games begin.

    • Matt says:

Get out the vote and vote efficiency/distribution will win/lose the election.

I read a piece in the G&M yesterday that said Mulcair has asked all the NDP provincial leaders for help.

And despite Notley in Alberta getting all kinds of help during her campaign, she’s apparently to the Fed NDP they are to busy and she can’t spare anyone.

  8. davie says:

Polls show parties that get major coverage are ahead of parties that get little coverage.

  9. patrick says:

    Actually, it’s really simple.

I really want to vote for Trudeau, but…..

    I can’t stand Harper, but…….

I’d vote Mulcair if I had too, but…….

I really should get paid for this wisdom.

  10. UFP Ambassador says:

With polls like this I think there is a ballot question that nobody seems to have picked up on. The question isn’t whether Canadians want to abolish The Senate, the question is whether Canadians want to abolish The House of Commons.
