Clip and save, future political candidates

Consider this your War Room Warning, as it were. In next week’s Hill Times column.

  1. Mrs. Green Acres says:

And then they wonder why people won’t stand for public office.

    • George says:

Yep. There are a lot of very good people who, conscious of the witch hunt that will ensue once they announce, will never announce – because of some youthful indiscretion, or perhaps a point of view they espoused in their (ignorant) youth, reinforced by closed-minded parents…you get the idea.

      It’s a shame, but it’s the reality.

  2. doconnor says:

I believe the commanding heights of the economy should be publicly owned.

  3. Ronald O'Dowd says:

Contrary to an earlier post, I guess we’re talking a different type of nuts here.

  4. Eeeeetienne says:

Honest question. Does the war room bunch come across some indiscretions that they wont publicize? Is there stuff that doesn’t see the light of day because of some unwritten rule about what’s appropriate to name and shame, and what’s not? If so, what’s the limit to these outings of prior indiscretions?
