  2. Ronald O'Dowd says:

    Warren,

Yup. I hope it isn’t hard for you to stop posting on the election. I stopped without any trouble.

  3. 3 Oceans says:

No not yet; but when I do, I will go watch Groundhog Day to get my Warren Bill Murray fix.

  4. Elsie Marley says:

LOL!! Post-election blahs still suck even when you are playing on the winning team.

The seductive intimacy of sharing & realizing your political dreams with millions of strangers is a tough act to follow.

I hope to get a life sometime soon. ; )

  5. Mark says:

Heh, withdrawal for junkies is tough, no matter what the flavour…

  6. Bill Templeman says:

Warren, I suspect you will only have downtime for a few weeks before the pressure on the Liberals to get moving on their promises begins to get to Deafcon One levels. Am afraid that this majority has sent a signal to the Westmount-Rosedale cabal you referenced so well during the campaign, and that signal is that “We can do WTF we want. The Natural Governing Party is back. Suck it up, unwashed poor people!” Am very happy my local Liberal won, but would have preferred a minority on the national level…

  7. BillBC says:

Please don’t go…I need you to comment on stories such as this one, from today’s Post…help…I think I’m going to hurl…

“Justin Trudeau was only two years-old when he stole the spotlight and spoke his first words to the media” (and on for several saccharine paragraphs)….

  8. dean sherratt says:

Warren…are you going off-air or taking a post-election break? If the latter, presumably we will get a discussion of the probable cabinet…If the former than I will certainly miss you.

  9. P Brenn says:

I am getting ready to go to France with the rest of
Canada to talk about envirnment..I am for the
    envirnment

  10. Curt says:

    Warren who??????

  11. Maps Onburt says:

Still coming for my daily fix… but your Wynne bit had me wondering what happened to sensible Warren. 🙂

  12. Rene G. says:

    Dude!

Isn’t there a radio show needing your attention???

LOL!! That’s cool man. I think a lot of people will still be talking about this election.
History was truly made and I’m still wondering how we got here.

Pierre Trudeau was a man I greatly admired and identified myself with, son of a francophone father and anglophone mother.
Only difference was that I was born in Toronto.

I felt a strong connection to Quebec, because that is very much a part of me and I spent a lot of time with my Quebecois grandparents.
Like my grandparents, I was strongly opposed to separatism. My grandmother had no time for PQ Bloc-heads.

So to have watched him present his father’s eulogy, even I asked the question – Could he be next?
To see such a prophesy come true, what can you do but question it again.

    Did this actually happen?
It did and all I can continue to say is “WOW!”

    Thanks for your perspective, Warren.

It was always sober… which brings to mind…
When will you be appointed to the Senate?

    Thanks again.

Remarkable how the “his majority is lot ‘real’ since he did not even garner 40% support” meme is nowhere to be found.

Harper appreciated this, which is why many on the right were disappointed with his largely centrist positions. Thus far it appears Trudeau is taking his cues from his acolytes in the media rather than the voting public.

  14. The Big "O" says:

    No comments…………

  15. Derek Pearce says:

I watched Bob Fife’s interview with your old boss today! He was as endearing and down to earth as he ever was, and quite funny talking about how a bad a shape 24 Sussex is in.

  16. Orville Right says:

Listening to Justin interviewed on W5, and he spoke of his ‘good’ friends. Chretien is promoting “keeping the doors open” and to be “flexible”. Is Jean asking the Trudeau Martinites to be magnanimous to his ‘bad’ friends in the Liberal ‘big tent’….. where you are trying to find cover?

Looks like the Martinites have won and the Chretienites are scurrying about trying to get back into the trough…… but to no avail. Just recall how Justin brutally treated outcast Liberals.

    Bon chance….

  17. DavidS says:
