You were cutting edge way back then. I thought inserting ‘I mean’ in any public interview (and not just hockey players…) was a recent phenomenon. But there you were, inserting ‘I mean’ into one of your statements. The rest of us are just catching up to you.
Cutting edge!
Warren,
Being a winner has absolutely nothing to do with holding elective office.
Some people choose to fight injustice, discrimination, hatred and other societal ills. They don’t get paid for doing it — they do it because it’s reflective of their values and who they really are as a person. They have learned their lessons well and by their conduct make this part of our world a better place than the way they found it. That is the mark of a true winner who makes us proud.
Not a nobody to the thousands who read this site regularly. Keep doing you
The best way to not reflect is to die busy. All of us think we could/should have done differently.
I don’t reflect anymore, and no more couldas and shouldas. Only trying to do right because it is right and to minimize time in purgatory (if I am fortunate to avoid hell).
Note: First post I read on this website was a questionnaire where one was headed. I have thought of that questionnaire many times since then.
