Now this is a political spot. Wow. Feels like Daisy.

My worry about this ad is that it has a Donald Trump is on his way to becoming president and we need to stop it vibe. Has a hint of desperation. Very much like those HRC ads that start with a message from your “potential president” it just gets people to accept that he could be the next president. In other words this ad accepts that Trump could win. Not very reassuring. I guess my fear is that people are already subconsciously getting ready for a Trump presidency and this ad doesn’t help. Other than in the movies how easy is to stop a a runaway train? I’d say not easy at all. This ad is exactly what Trump wants. You can hear him speaking now: “Folks they know I’m going to win. They say I’m like a train full steam ahead. They’re right! Now’s the time to get on board!”

I think the problem is not matter how outrageous Trump is, his supporters just accept it. The Clinton campaign needs to run some focus groups on two groups. Those who are still undecided including those who may stay home and those planning to vote for a third party and figure out fast what works best for them as they are the only hope in stopping the Trump train. The Trump people cannot be won over although if heaven forbid Trump wins wouldn’t be surprised if many have voter remorse especially the blue collar workers who he played as suckers for his own ego.

Feels pathetic. Why isn’t she trumpeting (no pun intended) what SHE is going to do to make America great again… shitting on the other guy with her record just makes her look bad too. It’s not convincing anybody who’s considering Trump because they’ve heard all this before.

Les, I’m with you… I think Prince George showed remarkable intuition for a three year old! 🙂 (That said, I think it is silly to talk about a “snub”… he’s a shy kid – they are totally unpredictable at that age).

I feel differently, but then I believe both Trump and Hillary have sold their souls to the devil. I feel “Soldiers with guns. In our cities. In Canada.”
