Trump Reich

…that’s the working title of my next book. It’s the sequel to Web of Hate. And my sense is that I’m going to have no shortage of source material.

    Warren,

A solid transition team spends its time figuratively rebuilding the White House block by block. Watching the Trump Team in action suggests that a reliable foundation is not being properly put in place.

So expect major trouble during the first year of Trump’s presidency. Crisis time in governance is probably not that far away.

One thing I noticed that came out in that article about Bannon — he’s an angry guy, has an explosive temper, and loves conflict and fighting. That may work wonders on the campaign trail, but for the actual art of governing, maybe not so much. . . I guess it will continue to work for the Breitbart and related loons

Solid topic from a proven author on the subject, providing much-needed discussion on what we are all up against in the years to come. And what to do about it.
(Nitpick: I’ll be glad when you find a better working title.)

All you have to do is spend a couple of minutes in the comments section of Breitbart News to see what a vile POS Stephen Bannon is. You’ve got people using KKK symbols as their online avatars there, for Crissakes. Bannon presided over that, encouraged and cultivated it. He’s a hate-monger, it’s as simple as that.

I’m guessing that Bannon thinks Trump’s infantile twitter outbursts are awesome. It fits the angry de facto adolescent living in mom’s basement demographic.

You already wrote a better title.”Trump Change.”

In the meantime if you need cause to speed up the writing of your book then watch the video below shot nov 23 and posted to Esquire magazine

here we have a young white female Trump voter going all racist claiming she was discriminated against in a Chicago retail store. if you are anything like me i watched slack jawed at the sheer arrogance and sense of entitlement exhibited by this spoiled child of privilege going off on the African American store help. i began to shake at the 1.5 minute mark and my lizard brain wanted to hit something and then I realized this is what Trump winning can make people feel emboldened to do. a thousand articles about Trump could not teach me the severity of what happened on Nov 8 better than five minutes of this idiot’s rant.
it ain’t easy to watch but fuck we ain’t in Kansas anymore, not by a long shot.

It has been fascinating (if you overlook the horribleness it all) to see a number of this website’s regulars carry water–unwittingly, one would hope–for the 21st Century fascist movement.

  5. Bill Templeman says:

During the campaign, I was strongly against the Trump = Hitler analogies, because only the Nazis were like the Nazis. To claim otherwise, it seemed to me, was to mock those who suffered horribly and died. Trump is mostly offensive bluster, so far. But looking at who he is picking for his leadership team, I am beginning to waiver. History matters, damn it. A shovel is a shovel, it is more than a digging implement. Trump Reich is fine. Keep this title.
