Trump wants to publish the “crimes” of “aliens”

…and, even when he’s being a fascist pig, he can’t be original.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Worth repeating, in these dark times…

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Ah yes, the great tradition of compiling “Lists”!
That is never a good step for a civilized society.

Way beyond disgusting. Does he “have no decency?” (My apologies – at this point that is a truly stupid question).

And here’s a prediction: the general media will present this story this way:

    1. The Trump administration is publishing this list of aliens’ crimes.
    2. Aren’t they disgusting? Aren’t they despicable?
    3. You can see this disgusting, despicable list by clicking here.

An “alien” in the US is a “any person not a citizen or national of the United States” who may has revocable “permission” to reside and work in the US (i.e. by way of Green Card) or is simply in the country illegally. The actual text of Trump’s Executive Order, with respect to this impugned “list”, sets out the following:

“Sec. 16. Transparency. To promote the transparency and situational awareness of criminal aliens in the United States, the Secretary and the Attorney General are hereby directed to collect relevant data and provide quarterly reports on the following:

    (a) the immigration status of all aliens incarcerated under the supervision of the Federal Bureau of Prisons;

    (b) the immigration status of all aliens incarcerated as Federal pretrial detainees under the supervision of the United States Marshals Service; and

    (c) the immigration status of all convicted aliens incarcerated in State prisons and local detention centers throughout the United States.”

Under the existing laws, aliens who are legally resident in the US are at risk of being deported if they are convicted of either a “crime of moral turpitude” or an “aggravated felony.” Illegal aliens, by definition, of course, have no legal right to be or remain in the US at any time, and bringing themselves to the attention of the authorities by commission of any crime, under the exiting law should have ensured their deportation by ICE.

The average American citizen might have thought a compilation of, and sharing of, the information between agencies referred to in Section 16 of this Executive Order was actually being done pre-Trump, in order to determine the status of those aliens who are actually incarcerated, and, therefore determine whether ICE should be taking steps to deport these aliens under the existing law. Apparently not.

So, there you have it. I make no other comments on this. You will make what you will.

Please forgive the typos above: “may” should be remove in the first sentence; and the last sentence should read: “Make of it what you will”. Thank you.

for all the hyperventilating about this, in the USA an entire Federal program currently exists to compensate the States and local governments for the cost of incarcerating illegal immigrants.

So it is fine for all these “Sanctuary Cities” to apply for the US gov’t to send them the money, but it is a huge human rights violation to publish the counts and what all crimes these illegals did.

  5. EarlP says:

    I give up i.e. “removed”.

  6. Signing my name, because I figure if the worst happens, I’m already a dead-man-walking for other things I’ve said elsewhere.

This is an obscenity. And because that supervillain-worshipping plagiaristic neo-Nazi is writing out the texts of DT’s executive orders according to some reports, I’m not even surprised by this. It is indeed unoriginal.
