Democrats and Republicans will come together for a couple days, smile with each other, hug each other, and talk about how things have become far too politicized, far too partisan and they need to get along and bring civility back to Washington.

Exactly… NRA lobby money and the ‘Merican hard on for guns is way more important to congress than even their own personal safety. There will be lots of lip service about how tragic it is that America is so divided by pundits and pols, then they’ll go right back to dividing it.
