enemies lists are a natural component of the 2019 Campaign for Corruption
As a PR/comms man Warren, can you honestly say that you’ve never been asked to categorize reporters/publications based on their history of how they have covered the issue that you’re helping to frame?
It’s a sincere question, because I don’t know how these things work. But it seems to me that knowing these things would be pretty standard to anyone wanting a sound media strategy.

Nobody doubts that enemy list exist within political parties.
But having civil servants compile the list on behalf of the political party is the new low that Trudeau’s team has set.
Except there’s nothing there to suggest that this was done on behalf of the political party! How did you come to the conclusion that this was on behalf of the Liberals?
Everything points to it being done on behalf of the CIB itself, which again, I suspect is a totally standard thing for any agency’s communications department to do.
I did ask whether WK had ever seen/done this before in his work, and his silence is deafening. I agree with many of his attacks on the Liberals, but this one appears to be transparently phony from where I’m sitting.
Competent and capable political operators do not compile lists. Amateurs do.

So true. However, the quality of your enemies is also equally or more well known to you, before you engage them. One only moves to win. Never settle for anything less in politics. Winning isn’t everything — it’s the only thing.

If WK’s name is on your enemies list…. I recommend that you pause and seriously re-consider what you are getting into. Then you should immediately quit whatever the f$%k is was that made him your enemy and do the exact opposite.
People shouldn’t be making secret media enemies lists these days. The way to do it is to tell anyone and everyone who will listen who your media enemies are, like Donald Trump and Rob Ford.

Here are your choices: you can either take that to heart that seemingly all is now well for the Liberals heading into an eventual campaign OR you can put your faith in the fact that roughly 66% in polls want change in Ottawa. That’s where I’m at.
But the new wrinkle? It seems some want to punish Trudeau and the Liberals by only reducing them to a May induced minority. If that’s on target, Scheer is in for a lot of sleepless nights between now and October.
