What’s the point. He will have his script and continue in his morally superior way to lecture us all on how silly we are to even begin to question his motives and actions as the anointed one. No politician is more dangerous than the one who believes they occupy the ‘right side of history’.

  2. Walter says:

Considering that no sitting PM in Canada’s history has ever been found guilty of breaking any law, did you ever think that when a PM is found guilty of 13 violations of of the Conflict of Interest Act – the general population and much of the media would not care?

  3. the real Sean says:

agree with Michael rae… what’s the point… but lets expand on that. What is the damn point of allowing PM Zoolander to participate in the televised leaders debates? All we are going to get is answers prepared by staff, based on nothing but focus group testing and polling. Maybe there should also be a twitter campaign to exclude PM Zoolander from wasting everyone’s time in the leaders debates?

    • Jason says:

do you think that would be different for any of the party leaders? As far as I can tell they all read their focus grouped answers.
There appears to be a lot of people who really, really hate Trudeau these days.
From my perspective we are all in these bubbles. This website is currently in the “strong anti trudeau” bubble, but its a bubble nonetheless. (although one I enjoy reading).
I’m not about to make a prediction about the election outcome but there’s a fair chance this scandal won’t make a difference, and has just hardened pre-existing views.

  4. Dan Blackstone says:

Furthering Sean’s point – looking at the “moderators” for the televised debates, is there any doubt here that Trudeau won’t be fed some questions beforehand?

What a joke this country has become.

  5. Walter says:

It really summarizes the entire Trudeau government that the Ethics Committee votes to not investigate ethics violation of PM, and deciding vote is cast by Liberal member who was found guilty of violating the same Act as Trudeau – and still found to be worthy of sitting on the Ethics Committee.

    • Ronald O'Dowd says:

      Walter,

For the life of me, I simply can’t recall such deliberate unparalleled arrogance. Trudeau makes his father look tame in the politically presumptuous department. Truly mind boggling. Can they really be THAT stupid??? Apparently.

  6. Ronald O'Dowd says:

Many of you know my CPC history and scrapes against Harper. You also know that I’m lukewarm, at best, about Scheer until he proves me wrong. But after this latest stunt, I’m voting CPC. Trudeau must be taught the lesson of his political life. Had zero plans to vote CPC until now.
